Subject: Death of a Tau Beta Iota Alumni Association Member
It is my sad duty to report the death of Brother Ned Owen Merrifield, Jr., 94, of Fairmont, WV on Thursday, April 9th, 2026. Brother Merrifield pledged in the spring of 1950.
A private graveside service will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Grafton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Assembly of God, 70 Maranatha Dr., Fairmont, WV 26554. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Ned’s memory to Trinity Assembly of God.
Brother Merrifield and all TBI’s who have left us during the past year will be remembered at our Memorial Service conducted after our annual Founders Day Dinner planned for Thursday, March 18th, 2027.
